Whilst the changes for the current iteration of PTS add some positive tweaks for Clan larges, the changes for small and medium lasers severely reduce the effectiveness of these weapons. This will impact clan light and medium mechs and most close range builds.

Is this the death-nell of clan brawling?

When i first started mech warrioring over 15 years ago Clan tech was the stuff of legend and clan mechs were to be feared.... well not any more; when are PGI gonna release the bolt on clan red noses, oversized shoes and the water squirt flowers to complete the mockery?

I started out in MWO as a dedicated clanner but pretty much stopped buying clan mechs a few 'nerfs' ago. The writing is definitely on the wall. Those that burn brightest dont burn for long; unless it's from MWO ghost heat.
