Clan over-performers need nerfs, not entire weapon systems. Conversely certain under-performers need buffs.

Both Clan & IS need more mobility, BASE mobility! It offers higher TTK and less player resistance/discord to shifting from alpha strikes to DPS pecking.

Certain IS over-performers need their quirks (offense/defensive) reduced or flat-out removed. LFE's & mobility can compensate for the loss.

Bracket-builds, mechs with 3+ weapon systems, are NOT what you want. The game is confusing enough for new people, which are used to a main & backup weapon from other games.




Clan lasers - ERML change is too much. The real problem are laser BOATS. A blanket nerf only hurts under-performing mechs.

C-MPL - boats can survive the nerf but nothing limited to under 6. Nerf boats not weapons.

Heavy lasers - if we had better torso twisting, these wouldn't be a big issue.

3x Clan Larges aren't a threat since they eat so much tonnage. Does make for more interesting laser play & diverse builts.

Small lasers - really PGI? Like all others, boats are the issues not weapons themselves. Keep in mind 4v4 favors short ranges when you look at your data.

Gauss - clan doesn't get heavy gauss so what's your beef? They're huge, explode easily, and can be literally all-or-nothing if you miss. Screen shake isn't a bad idea if it keeps your silly DPS nerfs away.

ERPPC - remove the linking to gauss (or reduce penalty), reduce some heat, or give us back true Jump Jets. Something, because they're even less useful when you can boat 3-6 ERLL.

SRM's need help - a mix of less heat, more DPS, less spread.

Single-shell ballistics perform great, multi-shell only when boated. Buff the later only if you nerf individual mechs. Remove ghost heat for 2+ AC20/UAC20/etc - short range and easy to crit.

RAC's and MRM's: situational enough to leave as-is, except for variants that can boat them.

Rocket launchers - more damage & far more ghost heat? They rarely get used.

LRM's/ATM's: Like Milania, I really don't care what you do - just remember LRMageddon (180 m/s speed). The problem isn't their stats, it's people feeling they are low-skill and/or un-fun.
