The one about Gauss, about C-lasers or the assumption that anybody could like those PTS changes?

I actually do like the Gauss shake. It feels right. All Gauss and, in fact, all heavy ballistics should cause shake on both Mechs, the firing and the hot ones (to a different degree, ofc.). In place on nonsense mechanics like the charge-up, or trying to maintain ballistics balanced via Heat. ...
We could also balance RACs by giving them a gradually increasing cockpit shake while firing instead of making them absurdly hot.
But the laser changes?
They are just wrong, from start to end.
I was interested in the changes you were planning to introduce on the last patch before you changed your mind, I'd have gladly tested them, but what you did here in PTS is just... ugh.

If you want to nerf Clans, give the STD engines a structure quirk. This way Clans would have the chance of giving up on their main advantage (Clan XL) to take out their STD engines (if they didn't sell them for some reason), but in most cases it would just buff IS Mechs.
I also don't see the point in fiddling with a bad mechanic, namely ghost heat, instead of finally replacing it with something that would (a) make sense and (

work.
During the Energy Draw PTS you got several good suggestions from the community on mechanics that would make this job.
What about finally testing some of them?
