Hi,

I will not buy any mech packs or spend any more money on the game in it's current configuration. It isn't fun anymore with so many players using a weapon systems that don't require any skill at all to use and will destroy me before I can reach any contact range. I would understand it in FW or comp, but in quick play it doesn't work for game balance do to the chaotic nature of groups.
I had great fun in the PTS, where there were one or two LRM/ATM boats in the 5 hours I played.
The Quick drops section is so ripe with LRM/ATM boats, who, without any skill, can fire at me beyond a hill/building and kill me with two salvos. The maps don't provide enough protection location and even the triple AMS nova can't protect you from a full salvo. Sorry, game in it's current configuration and future changes isn't fun anymore.
The laser changes don't bother me, the gauss recoil neither. The LRM/ATM buff made it the META and I can find plenty more games that do it better. Allowing two or more LRM/ATM boats in a drop negates all and any balance between groups.
I have heard of tens of people starting to think of other games, because they are not having fun anymore in MWO.
