Idea For An Improved Skill System

First off make it so the max nodes are around 50-75 I think. Then make it so instead of these trees you just have separate chains. One for Range, Laser Duration etc. For all the different nodes so you don't need to deal with stupid trees and can just get what you want.

Remove Gyro nodes and make them already how mechs normally are.

Buff hill climb to 20%-25 in total from 15% with 4 or 5 nodes. (Hill climb just doesn't seem to be that useful to take if you know how to move in a medium/light, and just wastes nodes if you have jump jets.
Buff the missile ammo nodes

Buff missile spread to 10% in total, from 5% with 4 nodes at 2.5%

Maybe, buff speed tweak to be 10% in total, from 7.5%. Make the 5 nodes all 2%

Make hard break and kinetic burst into one thing and halve the amount of nodes.

Make torso yaw and pitch into one thing and half the amount of nodes.

Also add in ammo quirks in the form of extra ammo. (Is this already a thing?)
