We have added a really cool feature as part of the Build Sharing tools from the last patch. You can now customize any ‘Mech and drop in the testing grounds to test your changes, even before you own the ‘Mech! This new feature takes the guesswork out of loadout changes and ‘Mech purchase.

Me too. Has actually got me to log in again after deciding to take a long break (frustration trying to level my free Uziel) - even bought a new mech (so now I can finally give up on the Uziel!).
Great feature, but long overdue - before it was like buying a car without being allowed a test-drive!

Don't you love it when a game you like gets a new, consumer friendly feature? I do.

Doubt they'll do that for new packs. Since quite a few mechs have been very underwhelming. Uziel is a good example. And I got that as a gift from my brother. Which made it doubly disappointing. Didn't stop me from skilling them out. But if I had been able to test it I would have told my brother to get me the Anni. Which before release was solidly considered DOA. But it turned out to be a real monster with quirks.

Ya pretty safe to assume, esp with how the system is setup ex. - mechs with omnipds.
