Just played some matches and seen Hellfires running around.
I thought it wasn't available till the 24th. All I can do is pre order it from the store.
Is there some sort of special thing going on?

Yeh they changed the release date but they didn't update the store page for some reason
You can check the countdown thread where the new release date is mentioned

Sorry for the confusion with that FuzzyNova, as we've also gone ahead and updated our store page accordingly as well.

I greatly enjoy the mech but it seems ridiculously easy to be cored in the ct

Yes, it’s hit boxes are very easy to isolate or something. Certainly suffers from the malady that afflicted the Sun Spider when it first dropped. Either keep the Masc and use it to scoot back to friendly territory after firing or just opt for a bigger engine for better overall mobility.
Watched Sean Lang do a few drops on the NGNG stream and it was pretty apparent at how even with him running the gun, it was melting abnormally fast
