So honestly I'm getting the champeen, that's decided already. But the hero... Is lacking. It looks like it was conceived based off this image:
Which is a fan image, correct?
So my question is, whether it is or not, would the hero be better if it had Lower arm actuators at the very least? At the moment it seems like it'll not sell very well, being little more then a psudo quickdraw. Thoughts?
Only asking about the hero Mech mind you, discussion over doa or worth buying even the basic pack is in other threads.
The black knight hero was rebuilt due to popular demand to fit an ac20 in its arm, would there be anything that could improve this hero? MASC? Ecm? More ams slots? More E or M slots (it looks a little hard point starved At 7 vs 9 on everything else)?

I'd like to see the Champion(s) get MASC.
Zeus Hero and 'Phract 3L are currently the only options for the IS in heavy and assault class 'mechs.
Making the 1N2 and 2N MASC compatible would certainly make the Champion line more appealing and play to them being "faster and more maneuverable than other heavy 'Mechs" without spoiling the uniqueness of the SLDF/ClanBuster/Hero variants.

I don't particularly care much about the arms.
I bought the standard pack and I'm considering the collector's version because I see them as mini-Marauders. The MAD-3R's 2xLB10X, HGauss, 2xRAC5s, and AC20+2SNPPC builds can squeeze themselves into the CHP-1N and 2N, and the CHP-2N can also do triple RAC2s. The CHP-1N should make a decent missile boat too, with 2xLRM20, 2xALRM15, and 2xMRM30 builds.
To fit the MAD-3R loadouts they need to shave all the armour off the arms though, so I'll be losing them early on in the battle.
Edit: As I re-read you want lower arm actuators on just the hero? I think one of the Champion's design features is its wing-like arms so I'd say no but would be open to faster torso twisting and a greater degree of yaw than the rest of the variants to give it a greater range of motion while keeping the design features.

I bought one for each of my accounts so no it should sell well in my opinion.

Well i was more interested in giving the hero something to offset less hard points, like being able to aim your 2 energy points freely, or at some support systems like masc ( heh, let's give it 2 or 3 more ams slots on booths arms to keep it symmetrical :3 )
