Matchmaker/queue Not Working As Intended

Problem: I was in a 12 man group CW we were searching since ca. 3 Minutes. In my Unit 3 guys come online, they form a 3 man group, hit the button, search for a CW, 1 minute later, they have a lobby and a map. They wait 10 minutes get a ghostdrop and at the moment they get a ghostdrop our 12 man gets a lobby. And enemies.

How is this possible? PGI once said that 12 man groups have priority drops, before the splitted groups. queue algorithm not working or PGI changed something and did not told us.

The 9 people in front of you were given priority. Your 3 buddies completed the 12 before the release valve gave you the lobby. They were given the lobby, they counted down to a ghost, at 2 mins call to arms went out, it filled up, your 12 man catches the call to arms group of spuds..... working as intended.


As an aside, I believe 12 mans are only given priority if there is a match waiting to be filled, as in the opposing side is lobbied and counting down. It is PGI, so who knows how it really works....

Well easy to explain, the team with more lurm mechs in the starting 12 gets prioritized and gets Polar or Caustic. If a potential enemy team has more than 6 ecms and/or more than 10 ams equiped on their starting 12, than both teams get a ghostdrop. I think i found that ruleset somewhere in the ingame wiki, but not sure about it.

still think this was a better in queue set up.

just change the attack/defend to Imperial/Replub . . wait . . wrong game . . Clan/Innersphere

And it was so helpful during the Tuk Events. PGI was stupid to remove that.
