Hi guys, I'm wondering where is the oceania server located?

A few years ago when I was playing regularly the oceania server was located in Singapore. Nowadays, after about a year away from the game, my ping jumped from 3 (old ping) to 500... was the server moved to Australia?

Ohh boy. Well, I guess that I'm rather salty then. After a couple hundreds of dollars of investment the quality of the service is worthless. I have great memories of when I played. Time to uninstall for good.

Yeah probably... waiting for some other games at the moment too.

Depending on your playstyle, NA and EU still serviceable

Ping from Singapore to Perth is ~60ms in ideal conditions. I just got ~130ms Perth to Singapore.

If its 500, something is definitely broken. Or your ISP are ripping you off.

His ISP is to blame. Not PGI's fault he wasn't around for the testing that went on with the majority of the Oceanic community back in March/April. Initial server location for testing was Sydney but this resulted in Singapore ISPs routing to Los Angeles and back to Sydney. With the Perth server location most Singapore ISPs routed directly to Perth.

If OP is getting 500ms my bet is his ISP is routing via Los Angeles and Sydney.
