If you watched the game on twitch, I was at the time, it took the OP and 3 other mechs, to actually kill Proton.

OP chasing him around for a good 30-40s without being able to kill....

That is what has made me laugh most about this thread.

His callsign back in the day(2012-2013ish) used to actually be just "Proton". Either from changing accounts or through the name change feature, it's now "prtNspz". While it's assumed to be short for Proton plus something else, unless he comes right out and says it means something else, it may be considered accurate.

It could be similar to what happens with my name, though; People call me "Doc" and that's not even close to what "Drx" stands for... I've never bothered to correct or clarify because why bother.

Lets all make sure to BBQ the new guy, who killed one of the most notorious shooters we have in what's left of this game.....

Poor ******* killed Proton, felt great, probably went 'YES!!!', had to walk away from the computer after the match from the energy of the match, quite possibly texted a few of his friend, smoked a cigarette or three, walked back in, sat down, got his breathing under control, and proceeded to share his very happy screen shot with us..........

And, most of you lopped off his head........I keep hearing about what a great community this is on various Twitch streams.........

People refuse to believe stats when stats make them look bad. Fwiw, I've played less than a dozen group queue games this year. You can tell who plays a lot of gq by their wlr, because it's pretty damn hard to achieve even a 3.0 wlr playing solo.
