I do question the legitimacy of how someone puts up 78 to 0 in solaris but is only above average in quickplay. and there are easily a dozen on each of the top 50s with similarly bizarre solaris results compared to their QP play. Hell there are some stunning examples in even the current season in game leaderboard as well that are just bizarre win streaks in some divisions

Some of those peeps have a lot of practice in the mechs in the garbage divisions.

You also have to consider the difference between the environments; Completely possible to be solid in QP but an allstar in Solaris.

Honestly, looking at those leaderboards I don't see anyone who doesn't deserve to be there.

Interesting theory on Reddit about accounts being created to feed wins during low pop times.

Regardless, my Solaris record remains a perfect 0-0 and shall stay that way for eternity.

There's actually 1 within the top 10 I think who is just rubbish in QP so I guess its possible.

Its definitely not hard to have two PC's on the same desk, with the second ready to launch seconds before the clock ends, when no one else is in the queue, even with completely different IP#s. There are a couple dozen open wi-fi routers in my neighbourhood alone and I'm not in a densely packed area. A match every 3 minutes...won't take long to put yourself in first place. What was the payout again for top spots in Season 1 ? I got the gxp for top 1000s on my alternate but didn't really bother using Solaris on this account hardly at all. Let's see find the announcement postin...Oh right MC for top 10.

I think I just played him while on my alt, current top10... ranked in the high seven thousands in QP with a WLR barely above 1 yet has a ridiculously high # of wins for very few losses. I played him when I jumped into a queue last moment that only had 2 others in it.

Must be a 2nd one then. The one I saw had less than 100 games in QP.
