Hot-Fix Scheduled For 19-Jul-2018

Greetings MechWarriors,

A Hot-Fix is scheduled to occur today, July 19th at 4:00PM PST (23:00 UTC), to address the following fixes:

- Fixing all Ebon Jaguar 'Mechs cockpit bug where accelerating caused the dashboard to shift up and obstruct the player's vision.
- Fixing a Mechlab issue where the 'Mech model was located in the center of the screen instead of the right side as it should be in the loadout screen.

The downtime should be approximately 30 minutes.

Pretty sure the cockpit bug affects more than just the A variant of the ebon jag

Derp, sorry my bad, it is all Ebon Jaguars, not just the EBJ-A. I wrote it while looking at the first bug report.

wanted to write the same thing, that the bug is on all ebon jaguars, but mrs. benoit already corrected the mistake!

How is the code so brittle that irrelevant changes affect a chassis that hasn't been touched for ages? Anyways I experienced this bug yesterday and still managed a couple of kills with half the screen blocked by the cockpit :-/

I mean... who hasn't changed one thing in a program and had it change something completely different? Or may be a value was tweaked for debug purposes but wasn't changed back in release? It's pretty easy to have something unrelated to what you touched break.

oh.. the Public test for the clan cockpit nerf has ended? And now? with the next Patch all Clan mechs get it? i mean no Laser Nerf for the clans but if you see only the half, you can shoot only the half and the op of the clanweapons is gone....

What about the Victor's cockpit getting in the way? I would appreciate the team taking a look at that one for as well.

It is intermittent and generally only happens if the legs, torso and reticue are roughly centred and your decelerating whilst ascending a hill, as you usually do when hill humping. The cockpit (on my system at least) will reach the bottom of the reticue, which is fairly annoying. I've learnt to live with it, but I do recall it wasn't always like this.
