Did your Toyota Corolla come chassis only?
Your Samsung microwave with out doors?
Yes your computer came in parts but that's Legos.

You mean purchasing individual variants from new mech packs? Because if that’s the case, I’m all for it. But this is likely to never happen since PGI needs to make money some way. People would probably order one chassis for a new mech for a lot cheaper. I know I would.

you can already get into a mech lab with an unpurchased mech and make changes for theory crafting purposes. why not just stick a buy button over where the save button would be and you pay the cost of the mech +/- the changes made (possibly being able to use your own equipment that you already own and not have to buy a bunch of things you neither want nor need). and yes in theory you can hit strip and buy it like that.

This was already suggested by me years ago.
The answer by PGI was basically no.
