How many people are actually going to be bringing LRMs to the party?

Rather do MRMs, more fun.
Most people should be able to get it in 1 or 2 matches anyway, and then switch back to other builds.

Missile damage does not mean lurm. 300 is basically one match in with anything that can equip even a small number of SRMs.

Well, if it's just 300 damage for any missile weapon, just bring Streaks.

300 damage for any missile weapon? Sounds like any missile weapon is a good choice. I'll just use my usual SRMs, MRMs, and ATMs. Thanks. No reason to change my playstyle when the situation does not demand it.

I actually used to have 'mechs that had LRMs. I used them often as sidekick missiles to a few of my clan laser vomit 'mechs and my Archer and Kintaro specialized in LRM5 chainfire. Then they nerfed LRM5s, LRM20s simply didn't get the job done, and on the clan side ATMs fit the role of sidekick missile better than LRMs did. Now I have no more LRMs.

I'll just drop in Solaris with my Splattaro, or Centurions. Easy.
