I like to play scissors exclusively and I feel rock is overpowered and needs a nerf.

Scissors is not meta anymore since everybody and his aunt plays rock nowadays.

Dear Developers,

I think that this thread is a long time coming. I've played this game for years, and I've found that I have a near 33% win rate in my matches, with a 33% loss rate and the remaining 34% of the time I come to a draw. When I analyze these numbers, I have lost nearly all of my match ups against Rock.

I'm not saying that players who pick Rock are worse than those who don't, but clearly whenever I come up against Rock, I have never won a single time, and as I have said, I have been playing for years. It seems like a no-brain solution that, in a game where things are supposedly "balanced" there should be some counter play, don't you think?

I think that the only obvious solution to Rock's dominance is to tone it down a little in some way? Maybe make it so there's a way to win more match ups against it? Honestly I'm not a Dev so I wouldn't know, but something that can improve this abysmal win/loss rate against such an easy pick would be much appreciated.

I feel strongly, on the basis of having been on the receiving end of more than my share of totally bogus papercuts while opening the mail, that paper can never be properly balanced and needs to be totally removed except where it is integrated into a securely-bound book.

Every noob can go Rock, it takes no skill to just keep the fist after counting. Good players prefer moves which require some dexterity, like Scissors.

That reminds me....

Last night had a seriously funny drop. Some 'special' pilot dropping in a stock engine Urbie, thats 32kph.

One of our scouts/flanking pilots found him and legged him so that he now moves at 16kph.

OMG, the anger and salt from that Urbie pilot was funny as all hell! Ranged from Griefing, Hacking, Cheating, and then quickly moved into reporting. Our team could hardly fire we were all laughing so hard at this guy and him complaining so much.

Tears of laughter were blocking our ability to take screenshots.

Like to publicly thank that 'special' pilot for making the day for all of us and we are still laughing at him this morning.

My self esteem depends on my mad scissors skillz. PGI should have the common decency to ensure scissors skillz remain relevant.
