I get the feeling these kind of sales are targeted at new players. Not as much value for those that have most of these mechs. The lower number of mechs and lower price point makes it less of a commitment.

Where are the Dropships? I thought may be PGI was finally adding in Unit owned Dropships to Faction Play. You know that thing that was presented back at the launch party in 2013.

But damn, choose your targets better. This round of the dropship deals is way better than the last one. It seems the remarks for the last sale were read, understood and acted upon. 5 Mechs across weight classes would still be a dream, but then i can wish for free cake too. Yes, all mechs can be had for c-bills, not everyone is sitting on 100kCB+ to throw around, so 2 Dollars for a light? That is less than i spend on a beer in the local pub, for crying out loud and the mech will last longer.

I can also understand anyone who keeps his wallet closed at this point on the other hand. The people putting the sales and events together are still not not the ones you should direct your anger at.

/edit: For anyone considering: Only pick mechs that you do not have to switch engine/heat-sinks on immediately, that will cost more in-game cbills than the real money you would spend is worth.

I agree with people who are saying to cherry pick mechs with advanced tech(especially in the light/medium classes) to save on C-bill refits.

I mean, I never play my Thanatos mechs, but the basic pack was still worth it for the equipment(at the time I purchased it, I had more disposable income than time to play/grind).
