I think everyone get's locked out if you're not Kurita or Davion.
Since I run a loyalist faction play unit as well, either changing loyalties or not it will be the last nail to the coffin for mine.

As there is no longer a loss of LP for switching, its not a big deal to take a short vacation from your faction and do the event.

If love your faction so much that this seems unthinkable....just invent some backstory for your self (or unit) that you were asked by your faction leadership to infiltrate Davion or Kurita to assess their strength and to see if this conflict could be exploited by your Home faction...you can find a way to justify playing the event.

it -may- however encourage die-hard loyalists to have a look at the other side, just to see what playing the "OP"-side feels like. a lot of people could use a dose of this

There are still diehards that play FP every week with their loyalist friends.

They could have let normal FP still happen like in past events.

Normal FP is still there.... its just probably a ghost town.

nvm.... no its not. there was a short time yesterday where they overlapped.

I am Jade Falcon spying on house Kurita and stealing their stuff for the glory of my clan , I have only two IS mechs and had to use 2 trial mechs but it was easy and i got my MC and walkie talkie warhorn and later a free mechbay for reaching rank 2 . Then I swop back spend that MC on mechbay or clan hero mech or phrankenskin for my direwolves . Use that extra mechbay and buy a summoner .

I am more loyal to the clans than you . XD

Every single time there has been special event, normal FW queue has fallen through cracks. It can be restored, but this being weekend, those who can do it are out of office / sleeping. Long weekend in Canada?
