Agreed. If they removed the Charge Mechanic in exchange for recoil, it would've been fine imo but this **** just makes things extremely convoluted.

Nah it's just going to put the gauss shot at the end of the burn rather than the start. Recoil doesn't fix anything, it just makes it more annoying to use. The only reason people voted for gauss recoil was because PGI didn't think to put a "Leave cGauss alone" option.

unless you use some macro that allows chain firing a gauss, then I could see how it adds troubles
although, if someone is just shooting one gauss at a time, that could make aiming their second shot tough
okay, before I pressed 'post' I went into the testing grounds to just single fire, still the effect and affect was small

Agreed as well. I've actually suggested something similar to this before and I will back this suggestion. Drop the charge up and the recoil and give Gauss Rifles VERY long reloads.
Something like this:
- Light Gauss: 7 second reload with 10 dmg per shot
- Gauss: 8 second reload
- C-Gauss: 9 second reload
- Heavy Gauss: 10 second reload
Another thing is people often say to close the gap between Clan and IS Gauss by nerfing C-Gauss, with things like less damage or recoil mechanics. I disagree with that. How about buffing IS Gauss instead? Make IS Gauss 14 tons instead of 15, with nothing else changed?
Turn-based and lore values are nice and all but lore and Turn-based values needs to take a back seat to making a good real-time FPS game.
