For example:

You're awarded a supply cache
You go to Inventory
You click on Supply Cache
You click the supply cache to open it
You see a selection of 4 items
Nothing happens, no option to kick off an action
So, you click on the item you need/want
Then you have a choice to Equip it
But that option is often grayed out
So you click Back to see what went wrong and start over
But then you notice there are 0 supply caches available, NADT...

Surely this isn't how this is supposed to work; right/?

Maybe I'm rushing things overlooking something obvious. However, I didn't have this problem a few months ago.

Thanks in advance for insight.

No trick, you get all 4 items. They're added to your inventory automatically.

@Eisenhorne lmao, I never would have guessed THAT, so I'm glad that I asked. Now I need to go find all of these trinkets other than weapons, etc.

Some cosmetic and other items can't be put on your active mech so the option to do so gets greyed out. Understandable why that might add to the confusion.

One, the caches contain both Clan and IS tech. You can equip Clan stuff on an IS mech or vice versa.
Two, PGI for some unfathomable reason deemed the Bolt-ons to be tied to specific chassis - if you get Tusks for a Battlemaster, you can't equip them on an Atlas etc.

It's confusing for sure. But rest assured, it's not bugged, but working as designed. Maybe working as designed ™?
As my old coworker and I joked about these kinds of things, is it a bug or a feature? Posted Image
