Faction: ComGuard

Known as the "Imperator", the MAD-1MP is one of the few retrofits of the venerable Marauder made during the assault on Terra, by the Chief Engineer Yuna Cassel. Nothing fancy or innovation, it's just a straightforward cramming of whatever they could arm the damned thing, but what is needed. With a 375-rating Extra-Light Engine and a pair of Jump-Jet, the Imperator was known for it's speed, thought it gave little for firepower.

Upon it's arms were a pair of Light PPCs, weaker than the usual PPCs but it's adequate given the current situation, however it is without lower-arm actuators that affected it's accuracy. By the right torso is a single Rotary AC2, capable of blistering rate of fire by all on it's own, and upon the left torso are a pair of 10-tube medium-range-missile racks. A final Extended Range Small Laser is added upon the head as an anti-vehicle and anti-infantry weapon.

Equipped with a total of 17 Double heatsinks, it proved to be quite a cold setup that the incoming Celestials and their Plasma Rifles couldn't easily overheat, and with 13 tons of Light Ferro-Fibrous armor, it's not an easy nut to crack either.

Here's another hero submission. So i thought, i wanted a Marauder that could have 400 max engine rating, while also having both ballistic and missile side-torso. That being said, I tailored the hero to have the least energy hard-points available.

Looks like a mix between MAD-5M, and MAD-5D. I find it nice.

Seems a little too close, hardpoint wise, to the Protector, in my opinion. About the only thing separating the two at that point would be whether you prefer the shape of the marauder, or the armor and quirks of the protector. I'm not sure we need another mech capable of nearly the same loadouts at 75 tons.

I could see a roughneck, laid out similar to that though.

This is MWO so the lppc's would go straight in the bin (dodgy hit reg and ghost terrain clipping) and be replaced with ml's and either more mrm's or rac-5.

That is lore, so RAC2s and LPPCs are fine. MWO is where we experiment, not play stock.

I want the game to get to a point where all 48 mechs in a faction play team can each be a different marauder/chassis variant.
