I 100% want to see an Ice Ferret IFR-A variant, with some hefty armor quirks added on, as well as a change to the ballistic arm's slot allowance so we can get a UAC-20 for the Ultra Deathfridge 9000.

Be afraid of what is at the back of that fridge.
Be very afraid.

I still want to see the Thunderbolt TDR-5Sd. It's a Thunderbolt 5S, but with the LRM15 replaced with a shoulder-mounted UAC5, the LL upgraded to an LPL, the MGs replaced with a 4th ML, and the heat sinks upgraded to DHS. I think a shoulder-mounted ballistic would bring a new playstyle for the Thunderbolt, which would be good.

Am i the only one who cannot find the 2018 Loyalty basic versions in the web store? Feb 2019 Patch was supposed to add them.
Not on the Web Store, or in-Game Store.

Anyone?

Buhler?

I know this is bumping a necro, but, just a few weeks ago it was under Store/Gift Store/Reinforcements. All previous year loyalty mechs are there.

I'm talking about the Webstore where the base variants of the loyalty mechs can bebought with real, hard dollars. They should be there as of the Feb patch. But they are not.

Strange...the 2018 loyalty mechs were available for $$$ in the web store after the patch went live but right now they're gone.

MAD-9S would be my choice. I love Marauders and the ECM combined with a decent loadout of at least 5 energy and 1 ballistic hard point just seals the deal in my mind. I just hope it isn't the "Top Tier" reward because I almost never am able to qualify for that since I generally don't buy more than the standard pack.

In general I wish that PGI's loyalty program considered the total amount of $$$ you spent over the year rather than the specific package tiers. Anything above the standard pack is not a very good deal (especially the useless collector's pack).

Heavy Duty Gyro and Improved JJs are required for its stock build, thus it is not possible for the time being (Improved C3 is easy to replace).

You seem to be looking at the wrong Mech. The MAD-9S has none of those things and only uses technology we have in game.

Yup, I apparently was looking at the MAD-9W variant listed right below it on Sarna. I must now purge all evidence of the derping.

How does the loyalty mech thing work? I gather that it has to do with how much you spend (real money) in the game over the year? How do you know if you've earned anything?

When they eventually post the 2019 loyalty rewards on the forum they will include a link to a page that shows which rewards you have unlocked.

All of the reward tiers usually go like this:

Active Player: Play at least 100 matches since the release of the previous year's loyalty program.

Mechwarrior Credits: Purchase any amount of MC or certain bundles like the steam performance bundles.

Inner Sphere Tier 1: Purchase any tier of any Inner Sphere mech pack.

Inner Sphere Tier 2: Purchase any ultimate IS mech pack OR any two IS collector's packs. Standard packs do not count towards this. Also can allow combinations of certain heroes, reinforcements, or hero add-ons

Clan Tier 1: Purchase any tier of any Clan mech pack.

Clan Tier 2: Purchase any ultimate Clan pack OR any two Clan collector's packs (standard packs don't count). Also can allow combinations of certain heroes, reinforcements, or hero add-ons

Ultimate Tier: You must qualify for both IS and Clan ultimate tiers.

Here is the post from the 2018 loyalty program to give you the basic idea of how it goes: https://mwomercs.com...rewards-program

Anyways, here are some of my nominees for potential 2019 loyalty robots.

IS:
FS9-C: Firestarter with 6 missiles and 4 lasers
FS9-S1: ECM Firestarter
MAD-3D: Marauder that is a pure laser boat
MAD-9S: ECM Marauder
CPLT-C2: Ballistic/missile Catapult
TDR-5Sd: Thunderbolt with right torso ballistic, probably mounted very high up

Clans:
ADR-E: 2 lasers in each side torso
NVA-H: Guaranteed heavy laser quirks because of its 10 HML stock build, but no unique hardpoints (5E per arm)
HMN-H: ECM Huntsman with more laser boating potential in the arms (4E right arm, 3E left arm)
MDD-D: Lets you have 2 CT lasers without paying for the Revenant hero, which means this one is never gonna happen
SMN-G: 3 missile hardpoints per side torso, 1 laser in the CT
SMN-Q: Similar ST missiles and CT laser as the SMN-G
WHK-D: Two lasers in the right torso
WHK-H: Potential heavy laser quirks, otherwise it just has a unique but not particularly desirable 2E + 1M right arm
DWF-C: ECM whale
WHK-F: Ballistic hardpoint in the right torso

I need to look around more to dig up some more IS variants but those are my submissions for now.

- Banshee 6S, basically a ballistic boat Banshee
- Thunderbolt 7SE, JJ & ECM, energy & ballistic
- Phoenix Hawk 7S, MASC, 6 energy
- Wolfhound 5, MASC, bigger engine, energy boat
