Hello guys. I am a new player of MWO, but I am a veteran in MW2, MW3 and MW4 online.

I have a question: I bought a shadowcat as my first mech. I made a build in which my cat has 1 PPC. However, I just saw that heavy PPCs exist. However, they are not available for my mech.

Why is that? Is it because H-PPC is IS tech and Shadowcat is a clan mech? The armaments are not interchangeable in MWO?

That's correct, you can't mix IS and Clan tech.
