I can understand most people thinking a Dire wolf doesn't need any buffs, now remember that beside weapons a Dire wolf is the clan equal to an Atlas same no quirk armor, same top speed (that no Dire wolf can change).

The Atlas is a great assault the poster child of them all able to dish and tank damage. The shape of an Atlas is the best damage absorbing design out there and in comparison the Dire wolf is as often called a whale, its whole torso is a giant tube that makes it all too easy to torso wipe a Dire wolf and the arms so stubby barely cover any of the side profile. A Dire wolf that doesn't focus on you is the easiest assault to front ct kill by far beating the ol' Barn the Awesome.

The proposed buff I ask for is a huge torso twist max and speed upgrade to the Dire wolf with a shotty 60 degree total turn radius and poor speed to boot a Dire wolf can't protect its open torso parts, the Dire wolf can't even move its arms sideways so its a giant liability and damage sponge when targets get out of its face.. A smaller increase to Torso Twisting for many of the Clan mechs will even it all out as by comparison most IS mech cal out right most IS mech out twist clan mechs.

I am not aware of how much PGI pays attention to the actual values of the Torso Twist in the Time-To-Kill but the torso twist with armor combo makes the IS last much longer were the skill tree's % based bonuses increase gaps, they take hits longer, spread armor better and thus secure victories more often with aggressive tactics.

TLDR Dire wolf needs major Torso twist speed and limit upgrade, and some for the rest of the Clans.

Edit: Forgot to mention how little Dire wolf can twist.

They could also fix the direwolf by buffing CUACs.

Assaults that have better firepower than heavies dont need agility buffs.

Its only the assaults that dont have better firepower than heavies that need agility buffs.

So if you restore the Direwolf's firepower, thats another way of fixing it.

They better give the Nightstar the agility of a Dragon or something then, cause that thing is hot garbage.

Unless they are buffing just 2s the Dire Wolf isn't getting buffed like the KDK-3 and MCII-B by UACs.
