For real, in my very active time with the game (3+ years) I cant recall ever seeing such a lack of activity on here. For the last week plus the rotation of threads/new threads seems very stagnant.
Is it really happening?

Stale game play and only minor weapon differences after almost six years but you can always buy a new mech pack. Pgi really needs to quit jumping the band wagons and chasing the newest gaming fads.

Well there was the time PGI (or possible IGP) decided to deal with game feedback by deleting General Discussion entirely. So.. yeah it's technically been deader than this before.

The newest MC and C-Bill releases are lackluster mechs (Blanner, and Sun Spider). There isn't much for the pugs to cry OP about. Posted Image

Just wait until the Fatnir becomes available.

With a 30% population drop in 2 months .. No surprise there forum is quiet.

I mean QP queue times have gone yo noticeably for me as well. So it's all flow on effects.

PGI has made it clear, making profit from the game is the primary and only concern, through releasing RM/MC only new mech which are OP for a limited period of time (and nerf to oblivion when release in CB, saying that they observed and listened), and showed little interest in improving the balance and the playing experiene.

Result? I play much less than before now, it is just not fun to die in a heavy for just eating 2 alphas, and the mech, regardless of weight class, are far less agile than they should be, the tactics of torso twisting is a joke for heavies and assaults since the engine desync, the game is just damn boring atm.

To be honest, there are still some 'Mechs I would buy immediately even given the current gameplay woes, but PGI is more interested in trying to harness nostalgia-driven purchasing power.

Yeah I've kinda noticed too, that the forum has been quiet.

And true, in several countries we are having hottest summer in nearly a century. Hottest for most people.

Heeh wait till they try a battle royale mode next year. It'll be the biggest newest thing...

Actually 100 Mechs enters 1 walks limps out would be interesting if they could get that many Mechs on a big map to work.

First of a ll it is summer. Second, MWO isn't that good game and PGIs failures come to haunt them now.

I'm not a merc, I'm a loyalist. Therefore, twiddling my thumbs.

Besides I'm talking about forum activity not the game or faction stuff. I get what you are saying but it doesn't add up.

Err wait til the FNR drops for cbills, you'll see a spike....but just salt followed by more salt because that will further solidify the FNR/Anni nerf....then HGauss will get nerfed...and....more people leave game..

And the cycle goes on. RIP Mech Warrior again for another 10years when we're all 50 years old.
