Wouldn't it be nice to have a real "mail" system in MWO? This way we can communicate with unit mates and pass notes to each other, even if they are not online at the same time..... If data storage is the reason, then have them auto-delete after 30 days...

E-mails are LossTech. So this is one of the rare instances were PGI is true to the lore.

Yeah, I have many times tried to message people and they are logged off. There is a way to do it in the website with messages to the player's profile. But it does not exactly jump out at the recipient.
