This is a turn from the absolutely wrong direction in PTS 1.0 to the absolutely right in 2.0!
If done well, this approach could even allow to get rid of ghost heat in the future.
This was my impression from reading the test notes and it was reassured after the first few matches on the new PTS.
For example, the three MPL on my LPL/ERML MAD-IIC actually become an auxiliary system instead of just feeling week and forcing people into boating even more.
It can't alpha without overheating, but it can use both weapon groups in change if the fighting range closes in.
On the other hand, Mechs that were relying on their engine HS, like my 4LBX4+2LL KCB, will have to consider taking some DHS after all without wasting their effect on the heat threshold they are not relying on.
So, in short:
YES PLEASE YES!
And don't forget to safely dispose PTS1 somewhere it won't disturb peaceful citizens in the future.
