[Bullitt]

Right I am seriously considering buying a founders pack but as I have not played the game yet it is a bit of a risk! I am not a rich man so I need to be careful where I spend my money & if the wife finds out I will be lucky if I am allowed to sleep in the same country let alone house! So I thought I would ask the question to any & all.
Is it worth incurring the wrath of my wife & buy a founders pack?

Well, anyone who votes is either lying or breaking NDA, so...

I got my Founders pack on day 1. I think it's worth it, not only for the bonus items but to support PGI and the awesome MechWarrior game they are making.

Sir, anyone in Beta has signed an NDA (non disclosure agreement) and will not be able to reply to your question as it would be a breach of that agreement to even admit that they are in Beta.

Everyone here has been able to watch the videos and watch the interviews we have also been able to read the forums so we all have the same information to draw from. You say money is tight for now and that your wife would be upset if you did this, well money and your wife are real life, MWO is a game, you have to chose for yourself. I am in the same boat and a you can see I have not (YET) bought a pack but if my situation changes I sure WILL buy a pack. Why? because I love this game, I have enjoyed Battletech and Mechwarrior for over 18 years and I will do what I can to support PGI and continue to enjoy this game.

i wish they would let beta players out of the nda some time soon so we can hear about the game. its beta so im sure theres problems but 99% of mmos have problems for years after release so anyone whos not an ***** wouldnt be supprised by this. swotor has been out 8 months and theres still some fairly common bugs still from release. and they had the resourses of bioware and EA.

Sorry Bullit, you must decide for yourself.

Try looking up any info you can find and judge if the game's worth it. You can always find a few leaked videos on youtube, watch all the official ones, ask us for things you're not certain and decide before the 7th of August.

All I can say is, if you really like the game series, support the devs by purchasing a Founder Pack, your donations help them with updates and patching, as the game is FREE to play, they need to make some revenue some how.
