EDIT: I bought a Huntsman pack, good mech, but its still bullcrap that Storm Crows are sold for 55 bucks and nothing cheaper.

So wait a minute. I get it, this site is a mess. You can't actually use the search function for anything and it is hard to find anything on this sight.. but..

Are you fricken serious? It's been how many years, The Stormcrow needs buffs to be good again and the only option i can find to buy them is a 55 dollar pack when new mechs can come in a 20 dollar pack? What the frickadick.

Am I missing something? Do I just need to bet them one by one in the in game store? What the heck.. 55 bucks for a chassis that is no longer great but kinda meh? All I want is some clan Mediums for me to run when the Heavy queue is to long.

I'll gladly be wrong about this if someone can show me I'm being an idiot and there is some way to get a 20 dollar Stormcrow pack.

What would be even better than a $20 Ryoken pack would be to buy them in-game for C-Bills ($0).

The price doesn't correspond to how good a mech is, otherwise PGI would be constantly changing prices around, getting it wrong, and ultimately it's really scummy to sell all your best mechs for a higher price.

If you wait a few days the dropship deal will probably switch to Clan mechs and still probably be 5 mediums for $12.50, in a pinch you can also buy the Stormcrow Champion for $23 (don't), or just grind up the 12 million c-bills for one Stormcrow. It's an Omnimech, so you only really need one anyways unless you plan on filling a dropdeck with Stormcrows.

just buy mech bays and buy them with cbills. no point buying mech packs after the preorder period frankly.

Just buy the Stormcrow hero from the Clan Heroes offering, preferably when it is on sale, and then buy the omnipods in game so you can make the build that you want.

The pricing on the old Clan Invasion packs is ridiculous compared to the new pricing and they never put the a la carte offerings on sale. None of them are worth the price.

Alas, every time I try and save up Cbills, I run short some how. I really don't have that much at the moment any way. 4 mill about.

If you're set on buying it. Get the hero in the clan hero section. Then just buy the ominipods you want for c-bills. That way you're also getting extra c-bills with it hero bonus. It's only $15, cheaper if you can catch it on sale. But that might be a while.

Eh, if you can get a light pack on sale. Instead of paying $15 and having 500 MC left over. You can pay $10.50, get 30 day premium time, 3 mechs, and 3 bays. That's a pretty good deal.

All packs, to an extent, have a portion of there price reflected as early access to new mechs. It's never explicitly stated how much that is, and the Store packs make it really difficult to properly gauge price. However, the best value for money you can get is in both the resistance 2 pack and the origins pack, purely for how much additional cosmetic content you get from each.

i really wish there was a hero only option on some of those packs. and im not talking waiting 4 months and using mc.
