This album gives me the Mechwarrior feels.

Hanzel Und Gretyl, Uber Alles.

I turn down in game music, play this in the background, and the game becomes 300% more engaging.

What do you listen to?

Mostly Two Steps From Hell and some Hans Zimmer, if I am in a _very_ special mood, Carl Orff´s Carmina Burana

That album made me cringe like a mofo. And then I searched for them on YouTube.

I don't usually listen to music while playing MWO anymore. Good music makes me do heroic (i.e. suicidal) stuff, and I end up not getting paid very much.

Highlights of the album, Uber Alles, for me are:
3rd Reich From The Sun.
SS Deathstar Supergalaktic
Let The Planets Burn
and
Mein Kommandant.

With me, something slow with a relatively heavy base. Prime example is the music "Valves" from C&C Tiberium Sun.

Faster stuff from RWBY. "Die", "Time to Say Goodbye", and "I Burn" are some of my favorites from the show.

I use sound to identify where mechs are coming from, what weight class (there's subtle diferences in the foot falls, between volume, spacing, etc that help with that). So I don't listen to any music.

This one comes to mind:

And this one:

Their soundtracks really get me going, the Hitman's soundtracks or ominous and interesting, and Halo 2's anniversary soundtrack is good for close battles or just moving towards the enemy. At least how I feel about it :P

The only music I need is the sound of my mech's weapons, engine and footsteps and the jump jets if I have them. Music will distract me from the game or the game will distract me from the music, either way there's no point combining them when they're not meant to be combined.

RWBY and RVB soundtracks. Dragonforce's earlier work. Hammerfall, Man-O-War, Sabaton. But there is an addendum, I don't play them directly through my headphones so I can still properly hear things such as weapon fire and mech movement.

I'd add most of the Transformer soundtrack (not the quiet bits), the soundtrack from Fury Road and Tron: Legacy, and of course Basil Poledouris' Conan The Barbarian OST.

Plus the odd bit of suitable metal.
