It takes them several months to make a new map, so if they're not currently working on new maps now, I wouldn't bet on seeing a new one anytime soon even if they did listen to player complaints.

That's my point... they should ALWAYS be working on new maps, not going full calendar years between them. I don't know about you, but I'm not dropping $$$ on a new Mech pack unless I get assurances that this game isn't on the backburner for MW5 at this point. They don't need to be specific, they just need to say what they have going on in the pipe-line. I don't think that's too much to ask of them, and it wouldn't even dampen a MechCon announcement video.

I remember ages ago they said that once they had more map assets development would go faster. By this point they should have plenty of assets. I doubt anyone is really going to care if they reuse buildings or rocks or whatever. So I don't see why we can't at least get variations on existing maps. Hell bring back some of the old versions.
