Hi,

I come back to de game afta 1 year and now i get squished by de LRM wepon??

Wat happend?

I hopened this game was not gone to crap but it seems like otherwise.

Really sad. U welcom for de input.

So 1 year without playing and your blaming LRMs? Wait till you see a stealth atlas, or rocket launchers, or ATMs, or any other new tech.

Or maybe just the fact that you have lost a year of play experience and have not had a chance to adjust to different play styles over the last 12 months.

ok let me try to explain

there is/was excessive amount of griefing over LRMs
"A griefer or bad faith player is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game"

the players could be new or old players they could be experimenting with builds
if you take LRMs into a match your going to catch hell for doing it

my guess is PGI received more then a few complaints

on top of that PGI is selling all these Mechs with LRMs stock on them
(I think I counted 65% of all hvy Mechs have LRMs)

its not a new players fault LRMs suck
well PGI decided to take action by buffing LRMs
sure it was a knee jerk reaction but I completely understand why they did it

the back lash was incredible "how dare you buff LRMs" seemed to be there rallying cry
PGI decided to reverse things and go with a different approach
(this means LRMs will be/are/going to be nerfed)

of course this is all my take on things

Lurms are not the problem. Its the high explosive warhead on the end of the lurm that is the problem. Maybe we can get PGI to replace those pesky warheads with nerf foam or maybe a basket of kittens!
