Its only hard to reach 500 match score DURING events. The rest of the time just make sure you are not in front. Use your team mates to absorb the damage.

I hit mine the first day in a vinny 1x with no consumables so...

I've seen 500 match as low as 600ish damage but the mech had 5 kills.

I think at 5 million CBills, thats basically a free mech so it should be something that you have to work for. and if you can't hit it in 50 matches (the minimum required for all the lootbags), well it might be a good time to take a look at your game play and see where you could improve.

I can't believe this thread is going on still. As far as OPs post it's non sense, 500 score is pretty high and denotes a good match by anyone who achieves it, consumables certainly help, but they are not decisive. The truly decisive factor is your average match score, if it's 300+ matches with 500 score happen seldom but frequently enough so that in an event that requires 75 matches getting one 500 score match is the least of your concerns, on the other hand if you average match score is around 200 the stars really need to align perfectly to reach that figure, adding consumables does help a bit obviously, but even landing a nice strike takes skill and ultimately the reason why you find 500 score is hard is because you are not up to the task, no offence meant, honestly, just the plain truth.

Usually breaks down to the idea that most players can't afford to use consumables every match without premium time thus giving people who pay for it an edge.

And while I don't agree with that overall I will say premium certainly makes it easier to use consumables and buy skill points and save up for more mechs all at the same time. Without it a lot people are going to have to pick two out those three things to concentrate on.

Since PT is included in the grab bags, I have no sympathy towards those who are crying P2W.

For the course of the event I agree. For day to day I'm mildly conflicted but tend to come down on the side of it being fine.

I refuse to use consumables because they are so damn expensive. And yet I reach the 500+. Just yesterday I got 590 score on Manifold with EBJ-A. And I had 500+ during the event a few months back. And I had it a few times between that too. There is no pay to win. There is just too much pay to get new mechs a year earlier.

oh yes ? my fail ..misinterpreted the completion from 1 (like the completion 50/50 by the loot Bags)

Seems like this event had a much lower chance of getting Premium Time rewards. Out of three accounts (me, brother, and a buddy), each getting 75 loot bags, only one reward of PT was given. Last time we had loot bags we averaged 3 PT rewards each.

Mine averaged 1 PT per 30 bags.
