I heard a rumor that every Mech Con attendee will get a hug from Matt Newman, how will this be carried over to Virtual Ticket holders?

I have no current plans to add anything but I am not going to rule it out either.

Well me personally could use a dekkel that simply uses the MechCon logo.

Also if you wanted to tie it in a way to the tournament pack then you could recolor the dekkels from the tournament pack in blue or some combination like that.
Also here is a chance to give out a special dekkel for people who bought tournament packs of past and present and the mechcon God die bag (and retroactively do a 2016 TSP dekkel)
Just an idea.

Don't care much for virtual tickets but that flag is SWEET. Impractical, but awesome.

I assume they designed this to tie in with the Hatamoto-Chi and there were will other samurai flag designs available for purchase when that comes out, starting with the Kurita emblem?

See, I knew the title is just wrong and leading people astray

They're selling digital swag and not actually digital tickets like StarCitizen tried

Well I'm sure we haven't seen the last flag bolt on

I'm pretty sure that the flags behave like (most?) other bolt-ons and fall off with the sligthest damage.

Just a way for players to show their support for Mech_Con even if they can't attend.

Is there a way for me to show my extreme contempt for the idea of holding a tournament that pays out prize money to the benefit to a few dozen people, instead of spending that same money on maps that would benefit a few thousand people instead? I'd be happy to pay for such a way.

Correct me if I'm wrong (which I highly doubt) but the prize money is only financed by the tournament supporter pack, which is already cut half of the money spent by players on the pack.

Sooo, its not like PGI is "wasting" any money on the prize pool.

You may criticize PGI all you want, but they are trying to make improvements with each Mech Con. Ok, it has been pointed out that 'Virtual Ticket' is not the best name. If the 'Virtual Ticket' name is not changed this year it will probably be addressed for next year.

Envious of what people received for attending in person, here is your opportunity to receive the same virtual content they did for only $10!

Should this 'Virtual Swag' be combined with the TSP? I think the options could be each one at their $10 price OR both bundled together for maybe $15?

Will there be a MWO store at Mech Con? If there is, consideration should made to provide the content online as well. Vendors at the Mech Con should be able to offer their items online as well.

Sorry, that was my bad for wording that wrong... I should have said I don't care about virtual tickets (one way or the other - I'm ambivalent).

I just want more cool mech customization stuff like those flags. On that note, please PGI can you make a Legion of Vega decal and/or flag? It's a cool and famous bunch of regiments in Battletech.

Here's a person's mini with their older smoking rat unit emblem... don't mind the rising sunburst, that's not necessary for the design.

I hear ya, at 1$ a pop I'd probably wouldn't even thinking about it when I kit out a new mech.
I bought a war horn that came with the cyclops originally and i have fought with me about either buying or just using some of them i already had (won the first for free in an event).
And i really like that one, so many others never come to my mind even spenindg money on as a MC purchase.
It's just that much MC.

Waiting on halloween and praying for discounted pumpkin/halloween warhorns myself ... please PGI......

Think those are the only ones I have ever bought as we get such a number with packs or as rewards (99% of which I don't use).

So, how about including the camo pattern unlock from last year in this one too, since we did not have the possibility to get a Virtual Goodies pack back then? Instant sale for me, at that point.

I don't recall being hugged by a guy last year, I'll let you know this year ;)

(Lucky enough to be a local for it)

Also agreed and unless warhorn is supercool, pack sound kinda lame as your only get mugs and flags.

Is the Mech_Con camo pattern going to be made for the mechs that do not have it?

For example, it'd be really nice if the Sun Spooder Spider, a mech announced during last year's Mech_Con was able to have the Mech_Con pattern applied to it.

One thing that's been said in this thread that I completely agree with, add in a full-on, every mech unlock for last year's Mech Con pattern and I will instantly buy this.
