It's not hubris if most of your losses are because several of your teammates failed to carry their weight.

If you're going to blame most of your losses on your teammates, you need to extol the majority of your victories on them to, otherwise we've got a full blown case of hubris.

Sounds like typical event weekend qp play to me as I played this morning from 9am-noon gmt. So many lrm assaults and ecm er lls builds it's no wonder I went and put lrms on a locust then still managed to do around 290-450 a match with kills. Event weekends always bring out the stat padding (lrms mostly) weapon and builds with hardly anyone doing any thing that would scratch their mech paint.

all matches are pre-decided by matchmaker, everyone gets a turn of team stacks

you're basically fighting against the matchmaker not other players, just consider the enemy team as teammates and teammates as enemies

Failure is a place to learn from, but not when you're not at fault. When you are not in control of your gains.

It's a person who desides what is failure or not. Odd thing to say, that defeat is a failure.

Earning less due to lack of victory reward is failure. While this game properly rewards you for your efforts regardless of loss, victory still brings a lot of benefit.
Thus, loss is a failure. Victory is aim. If I wanted to lose, I'd run around aimlessly.

just think of your team as not your allies, they're just metal coat racks that can soak up a bit of damage for you. teammates are more of a threat than enemies.
