PGI / Paul - have clearly said AI/Bots will never happen (as recently as the last 2 months).

When incursion came in, my first thought was; oh this is a bit of a mess.... Nonono, my first thought was actually, wow, destructible terrain, turrets, destroyable bases, when they start adding these to all the maps and modes as new terrain and obstacles...
The thought of it had me going for a while....
Unfortunately someone would rather waste resources putting work into bases where almost no action happens, destructible walls that stop almost nothing and rarely need to be destroyed, and worst of all, TANK traps out the front entrance of each base that only serve to annoy the MECHs walking out of the base for combat.
The wasted potential there is immense... I love a lot of the work, but the execution of it leaves a lot to be desired. Wasted resources is one of the biggest problems this game has.

Think about this, if you were off fighting bots instead of queuing for a match, that would actually increase wait times, because you wouldn't be queuing...

i honestly dont buy the 'cant' excuse. pgi simply does not want to put effort into the game because that costs money. and if they spend all the money on game dev then how are they going to buy beer?

game ai is lostech. its not what it used to be dispite a couple orders of magnitude more performance from our computers.
