Well I for one have to congratulate PGI..

Not only does Warhammer IIC look good (at least in the art.. we'll see about the model), but they've also included a 5 missile slot version in the basic package.

That alone is quite refreshing.

Has good LRM boat potential. Especially with clan tech.

And to all the people crying over "no double gauss version other than the Hero" - now you know how Lurmers feel on most other mech releases.. Missile slots mostly only on Hero versions..

Yes, because if this game needs anything, its more low skill trash players boating lurms. Woo!

ATM's are a dumb weapon too, but at least they don't actively promote bad play.

In effect, they actually are a gamble weapon that promotes active kiting to be useful. Sure you have the outlier supernova, but it’s too slow and relegated to being a doorstop, which it can do to tremendous effect in the right situation. Otherwise, atms are a much more active engagement system that has severe drawbacks. It definitely is higher on the skill chain relative to lrms since the lock on fov is very small. I say that implying, yes they are in the same boat as other lock on systems but higher in the chain, because of how a player has to use them for them to be useful. Never mind the nullifying effect of 1 or 2 ams. You can overload a 3ams nova if given the chance to directly engage and you dump a crap ton of atms in their general direction tho. Targeting another mech through that blanket? Not even close.

It's the same as the standard WHM-IIC, just has a different skin.

A mistake ?
