It freezes on two very distinct occasions--albeit randomly. One is when I try to exit the group I was in. And the other is when I open up the chat tab while outside the match and try to write something on it.

The issue has been more noticeable post last patch and not even reinstall is doing anything to help. Add to my woes, the game has had more crashes post patch than the entire last year.

I too am experiencing this rash of crashes. Hard Crashes - I have to reboot each time.

Only happens to me when I exit a group lobby. EVERY TIME I exit a Group Lobby.

This is new to my desktop, as I am running high end (as of two years ago when I built it). After the September 2018 patch this started happening regularly to me.

I have witnessed this happen to my drop leader every time we break group at the end of the night since the middle of September and have also heard reports of this happening to other friends in my casual Discord playgroup.

I don't know what change is causing this, but it is a serious, Quality of Life impacting, bug.


Please get on the fix for this one as fast as you guys fixed the Escort Mode bug recently.

What OS is being used? And if W10 are any of you on a Preview version?

Basically system specs, and are you sending said information to PGI. And I am definitely not saying it is not MWO but it could be something that is helping to contribute.

well, I would delete this but I have seen stranger things happen in more than one game when more than one type of update happens.

And do we know if PGI has acknowledged the issue and have been able to replicate it?

Edit - just to add, also what other programs are being used/loaded at the same time?
