when you go to exit the game they have a new ck box

was curious what it was for and why?

also do I check log off or exit?

Well I would assume that logging out will take you back to the log in screen in case you're trying to log in to a different account. Exit game should kill the program and take you back to desktop.

A while back Chris or Paul or maybe it was a community member made mention of QOL improvements we’d like to see. One that was mentioned was the silliness of the log out screen when you exited the game. This would appear to be PGI having listened to that critique and now giving us the option of just exiting the game when we exit the game.

I take it loadout codes are also the result of this?

I have never used that button. I just hit alt-f4.

I have more than one account. So, I can now go back to the login page or exit the game (and launcher) altogether.

That is a trebuchet, I think it is the 7k variant.

Its kinda terrible though, don't advise it.

Edit: Didn't realize you can see the bottom of the screen lol. Yeah, totally the 7k.

yeah its pretty bad and super soft but it has ballistics so it allows me to play around with load outs for
a bit longer and to me that's more fun then the endless laser vomit mechs

its got a RAC2 and two large lasers (don't worry I will try all kinds of stuff)

Err, well the log out function was there a long time now, what is new is that you get a checkbox to actually exit the game and not just log out.
So logging in with a different account without having to restart MWO was like always possible.

And hitting alt+F4 is probably the way I've done it since 2013, old habits die hard


What is more important here is that it isn't in any logs?
