My opinion is that for players who were already using lrms in the most effective way (fairly close and trying to get their own locks) the new direct sight firing arc and other changes make lrms better than before.
It's too soon to say but probably a lot better once AMS usage drops off a bit in a few weeks.
Hiding in the back is worse now but it was never a great idea to take a mech's armor off the line anyway.
We'll see how I feel in a couple of months but for now I like the changes.

Ya, I'm fine with these. For now there's a lot of missiles but there's also a ton of AMS.
Playing a dual ATM12 Mad Dog yesterday, I did enjoy the ATM velocity buff. Compounded with the Mad Dog's quirks made for really quick missiles!

99.999% of LRM users played their mechs this way
can't remember who said this but it was brilliant, something along the lines of "The only place I've ever seen aggressive LRM players is on the forums"
