It looks kind of disconnected still and you never have the impression of force to the surroundings.

I'm sure being "inside" the 'Mech would "feel" different. You seem to get that impression in some of the videos. Also remember that the 'Mechs are powered by incredibly powerful engines and other mechanics/electronics to make them more agile.

Sorry, but it looked awful in the scene where it showed his top speed.
Gonna have to agree with ya there. Guys? move the feet under the center of gravity to maybe reflect...i dunno a gyroscope? compared to the graphics the animation lost all of that dynamism you worked so hard to put in.

Very rarely have I seen Jenner pilots pull of those kinds of moves.

when you get on a high powered bike [motorcycle i mean] where you have more power between your legs than most passenger cars and the total weight of machine and rider is less than the seats alone in some cars, you don't feel like you are on a vehicle as much as you have added super powers to your own body.
you move with the power and grace of a ballerina on the race track.
and i suspect that what makes the tech part of battletech so amazing is that you don't get into a mech, you put it on and wear it.
a reason that physical agility of your body is important to maintain when you are a mech pilot.
so yes i agree, it doesn't look like tons of metal stomping around in the country side.
it's not supposed to.
