Oct Patch Frustrations - I Think Pgi You Need To Focus On Work

Well I have played roughly 30 matches...some aspects are good but I now see no reason for clans or better yet clan tech, so close now is dmg etc and IS mechs are hands down more durable.

I take back a little of what I said though, laser vomit just feels different and requires you to play that way. Alpha is not a thing I should play, even though heat dissipates faster. Smaller groupings seem to help me out from a rough start.

Felt frustration at watching PGI make changes that felt so bad on mechs I have had fun in for so long.

One note and I will not agree with though, more heat than DMG is awful on any weapon. The CERLL plz and still not sure what PGI is doing to CMPL.

PPC WHK is fun now! A gem but overall...just mad at the poor balancing and QC. I really hope you have different employees working on MW5

Anyway not trolling, just venting about game I enjoy and feel better since I started earlier.

I have tried most of my build and think the issue is my reliance on the ERML. Read a few posts and switch things around a bit using the HML and MPL things seem much better..once I get tunnel vision it's hard to see anything, they seem better but not 100%

If what I saw thebeef testing is any indication, Clan laser vomit is down right stupid at the moment. Just absurd. LPL+ERMLs are DPS.

I dont recall anyone going clean laser going to be bad, the gist was why PGI hates clan med pulse.


Ultimatly the complaints stemmed from most were happy with the latest PTS and PHI doing something different anyway.

At the least the whining got the windows hotfixed, wonder if that really just took a moment to look into and no one bothered till now.


Also who touched missiles in a way to make performance cave?

If you use laser vomit, yeah you can do it now slightly more often. but with half clan lasers down on their damage power, you have to do it more to get past results.

A lot of IS mechs are turning into really strong heavy weapons and clan tech is just frail, less useful and in general unattractive.

They may just look good but few perform as clan tech should, like the designed Solaris City map, great sight, plays like total garbage. Posted Image
