That is the choice though lol. What is the rest of the build. https://mwo.smurfy-net.de/ is your friend.

Range is really the only distinguishing factor between both of those choices.
Since it's a Rifleman you're usually more suited to ranged engagements, so I would lean more towards the twin LPPC unless you planned on using it as a brawler. What is the rest of the build anyways?

If that's your build and those are the choice, LPPCs.
That being said, I think theres room for improvement.

Interesting build, lot going on there. As to the question, in that build light is definitely the way to go, you want to engage at medium-long range for the RAC2s, so the light PPCs work best with that. If you go down that route, consider going light MGs too, and try and keep your distance.
That all said, this build will be difficult to use well. There are multiple different weapon types (sLas, PPCs, RAC2 and MGs) which will be hard to use optimally in conjunction with each other. This build also has an XL engine, but the rifleman has easily hit side torsos, and really wants to be able to torso twist. However, with RACs and MGs, you need to stare at the enemy a lot, and they will easily focus down a torso, which (because of XL) will end your run pretty quickly. I’d recommend dropping the sLasers and engine size to a light 255 or so, you’ll be slower, but when your torso pops, you’ll still be doing 1/2 damage, and with a ranged build like that speed is less important. It also means one less type of weapon to juggle when aiming, as PPCs require you to lead your target, and lasers need you to aim straight at them.
All that said, I still think the Rifleman does better with a non-FaceTime build (where you can peek or torso twist effectively), but it should be serviceable as a ranged DPS and suppression mech.

In my experiences using the Roflman I tend to get CT cored much, much more frequently than side cored.
For improving his build I would drop the MGs (because only 2 aren't going to help much), upgrade the ERSLs to ERMLs, add more armor to legs and arms, strip a little from the head, then finish it off with a TC1.
