I just wanted to express my opinion SOMEWHERE, and couldn't find any similar topics, that I miss getting a Warhorn as the reward for the Hero 'mech during the new-mech challenge for those who've bought a mech pack. I've never been hugely interested in standing items, since I'm not usually the one looking at them (I'm too busy looking at my target through my crosshairs, or looking for a target if I don't already have one). On top of that, in smaller 'mechs, they frequently obstruct a large portion of the available view, creating potential blind spots for other 'mechs to attack from.

Warhorns, on the other hand, are useful for keeping track of kills, especially if your kill counter is not directly in your forward viewing area and visible while partially or completely zoomed in, and are bragging rights to other players (as Edmond Feren, MW2, always put it: "That's MY kill").

Is there any chance we can go back to earning a warhorn as the reward for playing the hero? The "walk" item hardly seems worth the time or trouble (or money to buy the hero in the first place).
