Its one of the more famous 'mechs in all of BT lore, but I think that its current Hero incarnation leaves alot to be desired.

Personally, since we've had launches of multiple hero mechs for certain chassis since S7, I think YLW needs to be revisited.

Personally I'd create a second variant with a proper chinese/taiwanese paintjob (cause if you remember in the lore St Ives was to the Capellans what Taiwan was to China; as the original game was created during the Cold War); and give it new weapon placements like as how it got a refit during the Clan Invasion; which to the unaware means the following.

-Lasers moved from CT to Shield Arm; Gauss Rifle and...MASC. It would be a different variant that brought something new to the Centurion chassis; and a chance for PGI to redeem themselves for their horribly misguided Yen Lo Wang paint job.

Thoughts?

Yeah. Seems like it's spot on to me...

I was recently thinking similarly about that paint job, so I'm thinking that while PGI was faithful to the source material, maybe the source material was a bit off the mark. :)
