Mwo Lock Monitor Hz?

Those FPS number mean nothing if the game is forcing the monitor refresh down to 60hz.
This does not occur in other games CoD Blackops 4, Wolfenstein, Borderlands2...or anything else for the matter, gsync is enabled for both full and windowed mode, and my monitor refresh is set to 240hz within windows.
Thoughts?
Rather, do i have to modify something in a *.cfg somewhere to make the game stop that? Its kinda of annoying as 60hz is terrible with or without gsync.

unlimited is the default though, and ingame it just means your comp doesn't support higher

I OC my Display to 75Hz from 60Hz ( got still an "old" 21:9 Display), have Vsync on and in-game it does sync my fps to the Hz I'm running (be it either 60 or 75).
Also full window and not fullscreen, as everyone should run MWO anyway.
You should try it out in the the testing grounds, where fps is usually higher and more consistent.
Its more likely that your PC is not able to run MWO at a higher fps and more importantly is fluctuating a lot, like for the rest of us.
Also the last patch messed fps up a lot, and for some the hotfix helped, but did not return performance to before the patch.
Lastly, MWO is not well optimized, that the fps and therefore the refresh rate is bouncing up and down is normal, G-sync will sync to your fps that you are actually getting.
If your PC can run MWO usually at say 100 fps, but dips into 60ish, then your refresh rate will also drop accordingly.
Just for the lulz, I deactivated vsync, and lo and behold about 100 fps on Rubellite.
2560x1080, max settings, postAA.
Using a RTX 2080ti, a 7600K @5.2 Ghz, 16 GB RAM (3200 CL14) and Windows and MWO sit on a M2. 960 evo.
Nothing in the background.
Lets just say that any other game runs better while looking better too.
So that the framerate may be dipping and your refresh rate accordingly is rather normal for MWO.
Well at least I don't crash.

Wut? I'm running a gtx1070 and the monitor operates at 240hz, frames within game reach into the 60-100 range. But the game is locking my refresh at 60hz while the frame rate itself goes up into the 60-100 range.
In Blackops I run gsynced 150+ fps.
How can i tell? My Predator allows me to display my monitors operating HZ along side the FPS in game.

Fiddled with some settings, rebooted a couple times and suddenly it started working.
Odd considering non of my other games behaved like this.
Yellow is the monitors HZ(refresh rate) syncing with the green, which is Nvidias build in FPS counter.

I get to my monitor cap of 165hz no problem on some maps at 1440p.
Definitely not the game doing it. I found be cause I'm dual monitor that Nvidia control panel was locking everything to 60fps because it was using the lowest refresh rate if all monitors plugged in.
A few YouTube guides about on how to fix that permanently and I've been fine since.
