Is this game planned to be both PvP and PvE in content? I certainly think it should include PvP, but some PvE content would be welcome as well.

Also. any word on Beta? :)

I would agree - I would like to see some PvE in the game as well, just for something different. Sometimes I *don't* want to PvP all of the time.

For the Combine....

A simulator for testing fittings and practicing would be awesome but I myself dont really mind full on pvp. I played world of tanks for ages and had a ton of fun. I think mechwarrior is gonna be even better than that

I would'nt mind the focus being on PvP with the ability to run Co-Op missions against bots, or maybe even large scale PvP battles with computer controlled BA and Vehicles thrown in to add to the madness.

I'd be happy if they combined the two, where they have bots to fill out some of the PVE objectives, but have live opponents in the same area for PVP. looking for BIG battles.

I would be in for coop aswell. Can´t expect a great single player campaign from a F2P though. But I wouldn´t mind... in my opinion its all about the mechs and the feeling. A feeling far away from what MechAssault caused to me personally.

A free skirmish mode doesn't seem too difficult to brew up, and it would certainly allow us to blow off some steam with target practice, or mechanics testing.

PvE missions would be good for coin to repair and upgrade, so it would be of interest to develop it as well.

Coop mode would definitely be welcome, as well as training and practice sessions.

The FAQ mentions that there won't Co-Op or single player at all in launch, but that Co-Op is something they'd really like to add in the future.

I'd say Coop would be a big plus to the game.

I have many friends that pick LoL over other DOTA games because of the Coop option.
(In LoL you can stay PvE and earn the same in-game currency, indefinitely,
and the only thing you'll miss is you won't get competitive rankings)

I can see the same applies to MWO.

Solaris would be a good place for this.

Or even Recon/Stealth missions.

Sadly it was stated that at the moment they do not have the intention to implement SinglePlayer of Coop. Seems like PvP only so far.

Hopefully there's a practice mode at least.

I really do hope so. I don´t want to walk on the battlefield with a BattleMech that should be rather used to make coffee instead of going on a killing spree because I did not have the option to test it.

Single player in MW has always been a bit rubbish. I wouldn't miss its absence... dealing with bots likewise.

There would definately need to be some 'proving ground' simulator tutorial thing going on. Doesn't make sense not to have it, especially from a lore point of view.

As for PVE they could introduce it as side missions in the future. It adds to the flavour and isn't outside the realms of the material at all.

BTW why do some people think F2P = no campaign? This is a game built for campaigns, the payment model should be too much of an issue if it is able to bring maintain funding.
