Why can't I buy the omnipods of hero mechs if I own the hero mech it's a part of? The Blood Asp was released for C-bills. shouldn't I be able to buy the omni-pods too?

PGI probably can't code it so that you have to own a specific variant to access certain pods, so they just make those pods unbuyable without buying a whole mech.

A better question would be:

Why are pods I can only re-purchase by buying the whole 'Mech again still sellable for the same cbill value and in the same section of the interface as F2P omnipods?

Ownership of the hero pods should be locked to the hero variant. It should only be possible to sell the hero pods if you've sold the CT.

Because those pods are P2P pods. You want more, you gotta pay.

i wouldnt mind seeing premium omnipods that you can buy with mc. not neccisarily hero pods, but stand alone pods. but then again they would compete with hero omnipods that you have to buy an absurdly priced mechpack to get.

See how they managed the free Sun Spider, and in general how they handle reinforcement preorder pods. Omnipods have an "anyone can buy y/n" switch, and all PGI can do is flip that.

At least they could allow for the C-bill or MC purchase of Hero Omni pods once you own that Hero Mech.
