Maybe a noob question but where is the group queue?
Games like wow etc have a function with trade where you ask for a group, I don't see this on mwo? How do I get a group if don't want to Team speak?
Just curious?
Cheers all,
Wulf

You need 3 friends to form a lance to get in on this challenge.

I play with different people every time and tbh Idc who they are?
Do not we have an option where can group with randoms in a lance and do what will (eg in solo queue so far am doing the same but with 12?)
Why they are differentiating between solo and group is beyond me? Why not just make challanges able to be done by both?
Espec. if they have no dedicated group finding server????
Anyway if want some1 pst

Well you have to populate your friends list from somewhere. And the best place to find them is In game. Usually groups are using TeamSpeak and have a dedicated server (Like Murphy's Law) or use No Guts: No Galaxy(NG:NG) to form up.
As to why separate challenges... Its like due to solo players knowing they are not going to win against teams on Comms, and much complaining would occur.
Finding a (dedicated) group is as easy as looking at players Sigs on the forum. I have a banner for the group I play in there. Read the forums, check the banners. If you like how players with a like banner post, you will likely enjoy the group they belong to.

On solo queue could make more than kill/spot etc challenges. We don't have teams on coms yes, so we don't have the affiliation of team mates, but can do more cause no attachment. Thus, we could do the same as this challenge, or change it up and have GROUP lance get double points for each stipulation.
I am not comfortable with talk or hear people on coms, and I don't want to group with people tbh, makes people go next level and form a connection, and I'm not cool with that. So maybe not game for me, I just like the combat of it, and the anticipating aspect of it. However, I tried group for this challenge, and was worried about group over self instead of playing my game (did 10x worse in this challenge than any other combat). I play to unwind, not try to lead, or follow (spent years in military doing both), just wish had challenges that catered to all.
Warm regards,
Wulf

I may be misunderstanding your issues with the game, but the Lance Challenge is just a guinea pig test; it is not required. It's just a means for PGI to collect data on the player base and their playing habits so they can plan for the future. As such they are offering simple rewards for participating.
If playing in a group is not to your liking, then just play solo. There are lots of solo players in this game. In fact, the majority of the player base drops solo (including myself). So you are in good company.

I like the solo queue for this game, was just a quire on the group queue aspect for challenge. Furthermore, was to get me some group team mates to try it out, which I did and lead to my former comment. However, yes I find solo queue good and fun, just wish they made challenges available to both solo and group would cut down flak...
Warm regards,
Wulf

Gives all info need if want to get a group. Furthermore, I got group pretty easy (even If I don't want to group tbh, my group was good and friendly as well) I appreciate the game and I find it fun.
Warm regards
