Shooting 3 ERPPCs - 72% heat

Shooting gauss + 2 ERPPCs 82%-or-something heat.


add. disclaimer - its about new Bounty Hunter's new ERPPC HSL +1 quirk.

I actually just tested it, it works fine

3ERPPC: 72%
Gauss+2ERPPC: 47%

Pretty much what I'm seeing as well.

You can double check as well with Gauss PPC's by simply firing 2 ER PPCs on their own to see where just those weapons will leave you and then try with the 2 ER PPC+ Gauss. Your heat should be only slightly higher then when you fire 2 ER PPC on their own.

We won't rule out that the OP could have encountered a bug, but we would need to see what he encountering.

So for those encountering higher then normal heat spikes, does this persist with a client restart? And is this behavior only observed in testing grounds or are you seeing it in live matches as well?

Had some strange heat buildup with a 2 ER PPC shadow cat as well in a normal match on River City
Would jump up high then take forever to disapate - far worse than normal for this mech

Just puchased some skills before the match and was using jumpjets to get into position on the tall building

well, who might have thought. That was due to custom paks, idk which ones but admittedly they were pretty old.

Yeah I had a 3 erppc highlander 2c on faction in frozen city (1.3 heat) and I got the heat bug that refused to lower heat last night!
